Thanks to Sarah, I found out my favorite magazines, like Kinfolk and Frankie, are available on Amazon.jp and I'll quickly go broke if I try to order any of the back issues. With today's mail came the delivery of Vol. 6 of Kinfolk and my afternoon has consisted of perusing the pictures and soaking up the stories of creating traditions in your own family. Being a newly married couple, I often think about rituals I want to adopt for us whether it be Sunday dinners, Friday movie nights, or who does the dishes after dinner. It's an exciting and rewarding feeling to build a life with someone.

There was a quote in this issue that touched my heart in a way that made me tear up. Isn't that funny how sometimes we read or hear something that might seem ordinary to anyone else, but is profound to you? "The wayfarer is by definition a leaver- one who leaves, goes, sets out into the world in order to find something. Leaving, of course, requires the risk of losing things, but it also opens the possibility of finding oneself as a character in a real-life story."
